Logistic Aid Distributed to Fire Victims in Lebak Bulus

Logistic aid is distributed to 55 households who become fire victims on Jalan H. Gandun, Lebak Bulus, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Friday (8/18).

South Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Head, Mursidin said the logistics distributed are 50 pieces of blankets, 20 pieces of dressing, 10 mattresses, 30 pieces of sarong, 20 pieces of long cloth, 50 mats, 3 tarpaulins, 7 uniforms of SD, 2 uniforms of SMP and 1 uniform of SMK.

His sub-dept. also has provided two platoon tents to residents who are displaced around the scene.

"We also give fast food to them," he expressed.

As for the information, fire that destroys tens of homes was occurred at around 1.30 AM, Friday (8/18) at dawn. Allegedly, it was because of electricity short-circuit from one of homes.

Tebet Sector VI Section Head, Sukur Sarwono stated that there were no casualties reported.

"We deploy 10 fire trucks to the scene, and managed to control the situation at 4.30 AM," he closed.
